The view of billionaire’s philanthropy

This is my first article on my blog and I hope further articles will be updated on this place.

The resource for my first article is from the news that Mark Zuckerberg decided to give his 99% of Facebook stocks to philanthropy. He and his wife’s decision is magnitude to the world with two reasons as below;

First, this couple showed the right behaviour of rich people to the world. According to an article from the Wall Street Journal, Mark and his wife, Chan pledged to give away their nearly 100% of Facebook stocks over the course of their lives to philanthropy. Apparently, this announcement is not easy to reveal to the public because it means so many people from all around world keep looking at whether they will carry out their promise to the world or not. It could be a big burden for them. In spite of it, they made a big decision for next generation which is including their daughter. I think it is the standard behaviour that how rich people included billionaires should take a responsibility for societies and nations which helped them to be rich.

Second, Mark and Chan inform us of the smart way to help people through donation. They did not say just donating their much money, but said that they would establish the organisation to philanthropy. It is not the first time to give away his wealth to the society for him. Mark has an experience to donate money, but the impact of it did not reach people’s expectation. Throughout this experience, he realised that the essential thing is to manage the organisation effectively. Thus, smart methods are needed to help people efficiently. I think he presents how we should donate our money for this world.

To sum up this matter, Mark and Chan give people the strong inspiration to help the world for the next generation. I think their such great behaviour will affect so many rich people to ground nonprofit organisations increasingly.
